About Fractional Finance Solutions 

Fractional Finance Solutions (FFS) provides CFO, FP&A, and financial modeling support to high-growth, venture-backed companies, primarily in the med-tech and biotech sectors.

We have developed Strategic Forecasting Solutions (SFS) — a proprietary forecasting platform and methodology used to help companies manage cash runway, capital strategy, and investor readiness. 

 

SFS is delivered through Forcestra, our structured forecasting model and client delivery platform. 

 

The Role 

We are looking for a financial modeling analyst focused on client delivery and implementation. 

This is a part-time, fully remote role centered on: 

 

• Implementing new clients into the Forecstra platform  

• Running and maintaining forecasting models  

• Supporting ongoing client usage  

 

This is not a product development role. The focus is on execution, accuracy, and client service within an established framework. 

 

What You’ll Do 

Client Implementation 

• Lead onboarding of new clients into the Forecstra platform  

• Translate client inputs into structured model assumptions  

• Set up and validate initial forecasts  

• Ensure models are clean, accurate, and ready for client use  

 

Model Execution & Maintenance 

• Run and update forecasting models for active clients  

• Perform scenario analyses and update assumptions over time  

• Validate outputs and ensure consistency across deliverables  

• Maintain model integrity and organization  

 

Client Support 

• Serve as a point of contact for model-related questions  

• Assist clients with interpreting outputs and scenarios  

• Troubleshoot model inputs and resolve issues quickly  

• Provide high-quality, responsive support  

 

Reporting 

• Generate board- and investor-ready outputs  

• Prepare scenario summaries and forecast updates  

• Ensure outputs are clear, consistent, and professional  

 

What We’re Looking For 

Required 

• Strong Excel modeling skills (this is core to the role)  

• Experience working with financial forecast models  

• Understanding of FP&A and forecasting concepts  

• High attention to detail and accuracy  

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients  

• Strong communication skills  

 

Preferred Background 

• FP&A, investment banking, or consulting  

• Experience supporting venture-backed or early-stage companies  

• Exposure to cash runway and capital planning models  

• Med-tech, biotech, or healthcare experience
